Nature of request
The commonalty of Lincolnshire request that no commission be granted to any person indicted of murder, unless acquitted or pardoned of their felony, to prevent them harassing their accusers. They also ask that those now in possession of such commissions be removed from them, as in the case of John de Kyrketon, who has a commission to rate people for arms according to the Statute of Winchester.

Sir John de Kyrketon (Kirketon, Kirton) is evidently the man summoned to Parliament in 1362 (Complete Peerage, VII, p.338). He was knighted in 1326 and died in 1367.
