Nature of request
The chaplains of Llanthony Secunda seek confirmation of their rights in Ireland under their foundation charter from King John. They complain that the bishop of Meath will not allow them to have the profits from the church of Duleek and other property in Ireland unless they pay him forty marks each year out of the church of Duleek, contrary to the terms of their charter.

Let the justices be ordered that they should hear their complaint, summon the parties and make right.
