Note (Additional information about the record)
- Dated on the guard to? c. 1327, with reference to ordinances issued on 1 May 1327. However, these refer back to ordinances of Edward II, suggesting that the petition itself was submitted at an earlier date. Queen Isabella was granted the county of Cornwall in 1317, and thus presumably the petition was submitted between 1317 and 1327 (and probably before she left for France in 1325).
