Note (Additional information about the record)
- Dated by Rees, Petitions Relating to Wales, to 1322-1325, citing an inquisition, which may or may not be related (CMI 1307-49, no.522), and the confirmation of the priory's charters on 26 January 1325, which may have been issued in response to this petition. However, another similar petition is also at SC 8/56/2780, and the precise relationship between the two is uncertain. If the date suggested is correct, the Prior was John de Rufford.
