Note (Additional information about the record)
- Dated on the guard to? 1400, with reference to a confirmation granted by Henry IV on 25 May 1400. The handwriting of the petition, and the reference to the late king Richard II would seem to date it to the reign of Henry IV, and probably to the early part of his reign, but there is no firm evidence to link this petition to this confirmation. It may once have been attached to another petition from these petitioners on the same general issues, now SC 8/122/6079.
