[This petition is incomplete, damaged and faded]The goldsmiths make a long complaint against abuses relating to the sale and working of gold and silver, and dangers to the treasure of the realm, particularly by people in other trades. They request the confirmation of their charters and the granting of new privileges, including the right to oversee the use and sale of such treasure.
