Nature of request
The petitioner requests the confirmation by Henry IV to him and his heirs of a grant originally made to his grandfather Geoffrey of the manor of Faxfleet, 10 marks of rent in North Dalton and a £20 annuity from Hull. This grant had been made to replace an earlier grant of 200 marks made to his grandfather, Geoffrey, by Edward III, and confirmed to his father, Henry.
Nature of endorsement
The king, with the advice and assent of the lords spiritual and temporal, in full Parliament, allows this petition, and everything contained within it.

Note
Datable from Rot. Parl. Vol. III, p.550, and explicitly from CPR 1401-5, p.454, to the Coventry Parliament of October-November 1404. Much of the petition is now illegible, and the description has largely been taken from the parliament roll.
