Nature of request
John de Leventhorp requests the confirmation of an annuity of £24 granted to him from the fee farm of Godmanchester by Henry V in 1413, notwithstanding the inclusion of the manor in another grant of 1415 to John and various others. He also requests freedom from any actions by the king or his ministers in the manor in relation to this annuity.
Nature of endorsement
[In English] The king wills that the grant to Leventhorp and others should not be prejudicial to Leventhorp's original annuity of £24, which he should receive for the term of his life. He also wills that neither Leventhorp nor his heirs should be impeached, molested or aggrieved by the king, his heirs or ministers in the manor of Godmanchester in connection with this annuity, as requested in the petition.
