Nature of request
The people of Limerick request that they be granted custody of the royal castle adjoining their town. They state that it is extremely important, and vital to the safety of their town, but there is imminent danger from the king's Irish enemies and English rebels, and the castle has been neglected by former custodians.
Nature of endorsement
[on face] For the Treasurer, 9 March.
