Larcivesque (L'Archeveque), Seigneur de Parthenay, Jean
Addressees
Council of the King of France and England.

Note
From the address, this clearly dates to the reign of Henry VI, and to some point prior to the loss of Gascony in 1453. Jean L'Archevêque had been forced to sell Parthenay in 1419, following his financial ruin by a siege of the town, and the petition (clearly an attempt to recover his lost lands) was probably made early in the new reign.
