Dated on the guard to c. 1290, with reference to SC 8/121/6002, and CFR 1272-1307, p.279, dated 23 June 1290. Dyveleston was sheriff of Northumberland from Michaelmas 1281 to Easter 1288 (List of Sheriffs), and the writ ordering his inquisition post mortem was issued on 20 May 1290.
