Proposed railway to the interior: forwards further copies of Mr Bland's report [not in item] and suggests it be communicated to British Ambassador at Rio de Janeiro with a view to ascertaining the attitude of the Brazilian Government as to the continuation of any British Guiana line to Manaos and the Amazon. With sketches showing 'track arrangements at divisional points' and 'section through wharf at terminus' and extracts from despatch of 5 January. [See also CO 111/593/2].
