Holdernesse to Prince Ferdinand of Brunswick: his pleasure at the success of the expedition [to Fulda]. The ratification of the treaty with Brunswick has been sent. He encloses a continuation of his information from Paris. Other letters from France say that Saint Germain and Condé are to campaign on the lower Rhine with a view to besieging Münster and Lippstadt. It is not known whether de Broglie or Soubise is to command the main army. Dated at Whitehall. ff. 141, 142
