Arrangement
Whilst the main series of Home Office notices was distributed to all members of staff, a second and concurrent series of Home Office (HD) Notices was issued only to Heads of Divisions. Both series were numbered sequentially from the beginning of each year. As from 1 January 1968, all notices were printed on either white or green paper, white paper being used for notices of lasting interest and green for those of only temporary interest.
