A Long Paper is a collection of papers too large or bulky to be filed, and which therefore has to be stored separately from the file in which it would otherwise be placed. Each Long Paper has an identifying number prefixed 'LP', eg LP 101, and the related or 'parent' file is cross-referenced to this number.
