Description

Harrington to Cumberland: the king's pleasure at the contents of Cumberland's letters of the 11th and 12th. [SP 87/18/95, 96]. The king will allow him to return once all the troops are in winter quarters. Dated (OS) at Whitehall. PS. that he encloses the lords of the admiralty's response to the French commissary's memorial on the exchange of prisoners and a copy of the convention for troops with Hesse-Cassel. The king has ordered a yacht and convoy to Willemstad for him. ff. 201-203
