Cumberland to Harrington: according to intercepted letters Saxe is, against his advice, to besiege Ath. Count d'Etrées is advancing on Enghien, which will cut Cumberland off from Mons. He asks for a search to be made for tariffs relating to winter quarters. Ligonier will embark that day at Willemstad. He encloses two papers from the French commissary for the exchange of prisoners. Recruiting for the last three battalions to arrive in Flanders. Dated at camp at Vilvoorde. ff. 173, 174
