Cumberland to Harrington: General Pulteney and Brigadier Cholmondeley will arrive at Willemstad next day, and Ligonier the day after. Movements of the French. He is still cut off from the garrison of Ostend. There will be no French detachment to the Moselle. First division of the Hessians are at Mechelen. He recommends Captain Maitland for a company of invalids at Hull. Offers from officers to serve in Scotland. He encloses a march route [SP 87/18/82] for the ten battalions bound for Willemstad, and a return of the respective regiments [SP 87/18/81]. Dated at Vilvoorde. PS. on a quartermaster, Walford of the King's Own Regiment who has reported on potential rebels in Shropshire, including his father. ff. 166, 167
