Cumberland to Harrington: the French are reportedly going into winter quarters at the end of the month. General Mansbach with the Hessians will enter Antwerp the next day. Lord John Drummond and other officers have gone to Scotland. Warning against Bevan, an Irish deserter. Inactivity of the French navy. He intends to embark the troops at Lillo. Recommendations for appointments. Dated at camp at Vilvoorde. PS. that the transports have arrived at Willemstad, and he has decided to embark the troops there. ff. 149-151
