Description

Saxe to Cumberland: since the release of Belle-Isle and his brother, Saxe has worked for the release of allied prisoners. His arrangements for those taken on the covered way at Ostend. The others are not in his command, and will take longer. [Abraham] Hume does not need a passport if the commissioners are to meet at Brussels. Dated at camp at Melice. ff. 77, 78
