Cumberland to Saxe, enclosing a letter sent to Newcastle by Belle-Isle and his brother, by virtue of which they have been set free and are probably already at Calais. Cumberland asks for the agreed reciprocal release of allied prisoners of war, and enquires whether the cartel of Frankfurt of 1743 will be reinstated. Dated at camp at Vilvoorde. ff. 39, 40
