Wade to Carteret: Brussels will provide the wagons and horses for the artillery train, but expect to be paid. The Dutch have contributed to Count Maurice's demands, but no more can be expected of them. Wade does not think the army can carry on a siege. He encloses a letter re the chief engineers [SP 87/15/62] to that effect. He has been unable to persuade the councils of war to take action. Dated at Château d'Anstein. ff. 115, 116
