Wade to Carteret, enclosing the responses of Arenberg [SP 87/15/44] and Count Maurice of Nassau [SP 87/15/45] to Stair's sequel. His own objection to it. He has been unable to persuade the [Austrian and Dutch] generals to take action against the enemy. Desertion, disease, shortage of fodder and indiscipline.
