Description

Wade to Carteret: Stair's proposals are not practicable, as Saxe now has 105 squadrons and 72 battalions. He encloses [SP 87/15/13] Count Maurice of Nassau's sentiments on future operations. He will send a trumpeter for M de Givry to try to settle the sea cartel. Dated at camp at Austain. PS. computing the strength of the Austrian forces. f. 27
