Description

Wade [to Carteret]: the army comprising 60 battalions and 105 squadrons will cross the Scheldt next day. Additional forces have been ordered from Tournai, Mons and elsewhere. Discord between British and Dutch at Ostend. Saxe's fortifications beyond the Lys. Dated at Berlegem. f. 257
