Wade [to Carteret], enclosing a letter from Saxe [SP 87/14/138] which itself encloses a letter from Nouailles [SP 87/14/139], and his answers [SP 87/14/138, 140]. His negotiations with de Givry on the fisheries. De Givry prepared to travel to London. Count Maurice and Arenberg are pressing him to send the battering train to Antwerp. He has refused, as the Dutch have not contributed men, material or money for siege purposes. A council of war has decided to march against Saxe. Infirmity of Colonel Soules.
