Wade [to Carteret], enclosing a letter from Nouailles [SP 87/14/124] and his response [SP 87/14/125]. Importance of the paragraph on fisheries. He encloses also a letter from General Smissaert on the composition of the garrison of Ostend [SP 87/14/126]. If the French cross the Scheldt he may assemble the whole army on the heights of Oudenaarde. The question of fodder. The duke of Harcourt is marching on the Rhine. Dated at camp at Berlegem. ff. 208, 209
