Description

Account sent by Prince Charles [of Lorraine]: the town of Lauterbourg having refused to surrender to Count Nadasti, reinforcements were sent under the prince of Wolfenbüttel and General Preising. The town surrendered before their arrival. Nadasti then advanced on Wissembourg, which also surrendered. Since the entire French army was close, Nadasti and his corps then rejoined the main army. Dated at headquarters at Lauterbourg. ff. 195, 196
