Wade to Nouailles (copy, sent by trumpeter): he encloses Carteret's letter to Nouailles concerning the exchange of prisoners. The prisoners of Lowendale [Lowendale's regiment] will be sent to Calais immediately. The cartel concluded at Frankfurt on prisoners taken by land will remain in force. French prisoners taken at sea will be treated in the same manner as the French treat the British. ff. 175, 176
