William Norton in Dunkirk to the commissioners for sick and wounded seamen (copy): at the request of the vice-consul in Ostend, he has been paying the 98 prisoners in Dunkirk and 3 in Calais 6d per day subsistence. He can secure the liberty of the town for captains and passengers provided that French prisoners in England have the same privilege on payment of the same security. ff. 149-151
