Wade [to Carteret]: arrival of Dutch and Austrian troops has brought the army's strength to 41 battalions and 85 squadrons. He encloses the resolutions of a council of war held by Arenberg [SP 87/14/76]. Detachments have been sent to stop Count Saxe laying bridges across the Scheldt. He encloses the route of the second detachment [SP 87/14/77], as the whole army is to follow it the next day. The cavalry drafts have arrived and he hopes they will join the army at Oudenaarde. Dated at camp near Asch. ff. 123, 124
