Wade [to Carteret]: heavy rain means there have been no reports from the hussars on the frontier; it will also prevent the French from investing any of the frontier towns. Arrival at Ostend of the transports with the drafts. There may be a council of war next day. The Dutch cavalry have left the frontier towns. He encloses advices from the frontier [SP 87/14/46, 47].
