Newcastle to Stair: details of the interview between Bunan and Nouailles at which Nouailles informed Bunan he intended to attack the British with 87 battalions. He encloses a corroborative letter from Thompson, the king's minister in Paris. If any of Stair's officers are still in England, they will be sent out immediately. The two regiments from Ireland have sailed. He anxious for news of the action at Dingolfing. Dated (OS) at Whitehall. ff. 65-68
