Various members of Council are absent [Mr. James Campbell; Mr. Robert Johnston; Mr. Ninian Home; Mr. William Niccoll; Mr. Samuel Sandbach; Mr. William Smith] therefore has nominated Mr. John Colby; and the Reverend Mr. Wingate to be Assistant Councillors, to serve only for the present to facilitate the business of Grenada; Transmits the Monthly Returns of His Majesty's Forces under the command of Lieutenant General Edward Mathew for January 1789.
