Prince Ferdinand of Brunswick to Holdernesse, enclosing an account of the battle of Warburg [SP 87/38/45]. Skirmishes with the enemy. He sent the hereditary prince across the Diemel with a large force which successfully engaged du Muy's rearguard. Recapture of the castle of Bentheim. Capture of a French courier with dispatches; he encloses a copy of a letter from de Broglie to Belle-Isle [SP 87/38/**]. The [brigade of] British guards has arrived. Dated at Bühne. ff. 86-88
