Prince Ferdinand of Brunswick to Holdernesse: the king's army and the French are separated by the River Diemel. He has detached troops to and beyond the Weser. Successful actions by Major General von Luckner and Colonel von Donop. Hanover and Brunswick are threatened by the duke of Württemberg. He refers Holdernesse to a letter he has written to Pitt. He urges the need for recruits and remounts. Dated at Warburg. ff. 78-80
