Forwards a letter addressed to the Secretary of the War Office concerning the bravery of Private B M Pitman of the Bermuda Contingent in France. Pitman was said to have gone out alone and brought back two men and a Lewis gun of the 1st Lincolnshire Regiment as well as two German prisoners. Pitman was killed in France on 4 January 1918.
