Holdernesse to Prince Ferdinand of Brunswick, enclosing a letter from the king of Prussia and the king's reply, from which it is clear that there is no hope of keeping the Prussian cavalry with the army. The king intends to offset this loss by sending Honeywood's regiment of cavalry and Elliot's of light dragoons. Colonel Luckner's attack on Butsbach. He encloses a letter from Choiseuil to the senate of Hamburg. Dated at Whitehall. ff. 1, 2
