Copy letter from Mr Major to the Board. Have informed the Lascars when they should board the East India Company ship and that their subsistence will cease from their embarkation time. The ships will be ready to sail next month. The Lascars state they would rather be hanged than go without their Prize Money promised them by Captain Vincent and Admiral Griffin. They were ordered to wait on those gentlemen and the Secretary of the Admiralty. The people who put them in prison expect to be paid and the Attorney has been asked for an account. Enclosure.
