Description (What the record is about)
-
John Clevland. Have considered Commodore Townshend's reply about the employment of more artificers at Port Royal than the Establishment of Admiral Knowles. Find that the number is excessive, the price per day too high and the reason given not justified. Mr Patterson has been ordered to inspect the repairs needed for the wharves and storehouses at Jamaica.
