Description (What the record is about)
-
John Clevland. A pension was settled on Christopher Plummer, late Master of the Katherine Yacht, equal to half pay but he applied for superannuation on the same establishment as Masters of hoys and transports. We could find no precedent for an allowance to a Master superannuated from a yacht as it would entitle him to a better pension to that enjoyed by a Master of a 3rd rate. His wages will be paid when the yacht is paid
