Description

John Clevland. David Pain confirmed a warrant given by Admiral Rowley appointing him Purser of the Boyne. Reasons why he was not entered into the Ordinary until 29 March. Admiral Watson employed him as a clerk when at Portsmouth. Asks for himself and his servant to be entered from the time the ship was paid
