Thomas Corbett. The Captain appointed to regulate the press in Town has asked if trusses are supplied for sailors who have met with accidents. It is our opinion that each ship should be supplied with steel trusses. Bag trusses are only fit for complete ruptures. Anyone wearing the trusses should not be allowed to land on a reef. The trusses should be supplied to the surgeons and accounted for. If a man has been recently injured on service, he should receive one truss gratis and from thence he should be charged one guinea against his name on the books of his ship
