Description

Deptford Officers to the Navy Board. Report on the enquiry into the Friend's Adventure Tender, Richard Merrell, Master. They viewed the Paul Bitts which have given way by hard riding on anchor and are now secure, but it was not safe for her to have gone round Longsands Head to attend the Princess Royal. They support the Master's claim. The tender will be fit in a few days.
