Thomas Corbett. Receipt of letter with petition of John Taylor, late of the Strafford, who was put sick on shore at Jamaica and then discharged to the Blandford to be sent home an invalid. Captain Trevor made him out a ticket and gave them to Captain Burrish of the Blandford but he was left behind when the Blandford sailed. On his recovery he returned to the Strafford until turned over to the Berwick and his ticket for wages was lost. He has asked for relief. How he stands on the books of the Strafford. Captain Burrish informs he was sent on the Blandford and discharged with Thomas Wiltshire into the Ellis merchant ship and their tickets were delivered to Robert Nowne, Master. How he stands on the Blandford. The ticket was delivered for payment by Mr Parr who has a bill of sale for the ticket from John Taylor whom we think an imposter and that John Taylor should be paid his wages by means of a bond ticket
