Copy letter from Captain Digby Dent of the Shrewsbury in the Downs. Edward White, Master of the Elizabeth Bilander used for impressing seamen by the Shrewsbury, had a skirmish with the Squirrel on the French coast. The Master thinks he is exempt from paying the cost of repairs and requests stores from Deal. Copy survey by the officers of the Shrewsbury, William Shackerly, Jo. Hancock, William Wright and Js. Hancock, of the damage to the Elizabeth Bilander.
