Thomas Corbett. Receipt of extract letter from Vice Admiral Mathews that one storeship is insufficient to supply the Sovereign. The Deptford Officers were directed to account whether the Princess Royal Hospital Ship could serve as a storeship. Have directed the Portsmouth Officers to inform if there was a ship there proper for fitting for a hospital ship to replace the Princess Royal and they have proposed the Chester for that service. Propose the Princess Royal is fitted as a storeship and the Chester is fitted for a hospital ship
