Description

To Thomas Corbett. On a representation from Captain Lisle, the Scarborough, proposal to build a careening wharf at English Harbour, Antigua. Instruction was sent to Warner Tempest, Storekeeper, to continue the works on the Dantzig Merchant ship that sailed from Antigua from Deptford in 1741 and from Spithead under convoy of the Adventure that arrived in Antigua in June. He acknowledged receipt by a note on the Bridget that sailed under convoy of the Falmouth from Deptford in August. The old wharf was built in 1727 by Captain Delgano
