Report of Henry Sedley, magistrate of the Nottingham Bench on behalf of John Bosworth, sentenced at the 'Epiphany Sessions' [Nottingham/Nottinghamshire Quarter Sessions] in 1798, for stealing geese, property of John Morley, at West Bridgford. Grounds for clemency: some favourable circumstances. Initial sentence: 12 months imprisonment in the Southwell House of Correction. Recommendation: free pardon; annotated 'This must be done immediately'. Folios 267-268.
