Description

1 individual petition (Earl Pembroke) on behalf of John Perry, convicted at the [Wiltshire Assizes] at New Sarum on 8 March 1791, for a highway robbery (with his father and brother; the former being executed and the latter now in HM. Navy). The prisoner is currently on board the hulks. The prisoner would be of use to serve Crown in HM. Pembroke has been urged to send in this application by several persons in the neighbourhood including the prosecutor. Initial sentence: 7 years transportation. Folios 309-310.
